A monthly mechanism to consolidate DDR-related news, research articles, relevant videos will feed into the IAWG priorities on keeping its DDR guidance and internal discussions (such as IAWG meetings) up-to-date of operational realities at the global, regional and country levels. The monthly consolidation of news articles, upcoming research and video tools will assist in populating content for the UNDP Community of Practice on Crises Prevention and Resilience, UNDP Yammer Group on Reintegration and the UN DDR Resource Center. The consolidated resources shall also contribute towards IAWG’s commitment to remaining updated of DDR-related developments, while maintaining a regular review mechanism for the DDR guidance, with a feedback loop between the IAWG and members of the Integrated DDR Training Group (IDDRTG). In doing so, the OV will assist in identifying opportunities for UNDP to foster greater collaboration with other relevant agencies on DDR-related joint assessments.
