The Online Volunteer will support ReliefWeb in configuration and maintenance of Amazon Web Services (AWS) products and services and Linux administration. We developed a Data monitoring project with R, at the moment is deployed in a local machine and we want to deployed it in our online Servers. The Online Volunteer will help us with the required configurations of the AWS server and Linux administration to deploy the project in our servers. Some of the tasks will be: Deploy, manage, and operate scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS. Implement and control the flow of data to and from AWS. Select the appropriate AWS service based on compute, data, or security requirements. Estimate AWS usage costs and identify operational cost control mechanisms.

    At Relief Web we are monitoring and analyzing major diseases and climate disasters in the Asia-Pacific region. We would like to display the project through our servers and for that we will be happy to work with an Online Volunteer that will contribute with her/his experience.

  • Volunteers: 1 needed

  • 1-5 hours per week / 4 weeks

    Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Linux administration experience. Plus for Power Bi experience.
