You have:
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A first-level university degree may be accepted in lieu of two years of required experience.
- A minimum of three years of responsible experience in conference support, sound engineering, electrical engineering, information technology or related areas is required.
- One year of experience is required if graduated with a first-level university degree.
- Experience in organizing virtual/hybrid meetings is required.
- Experience in streaming audio and video files over internet is desirable.
- Knowledge of installing and upgrading software applications in general is desirable.
- Experience in servicing meetings organized by UN and/or other organization is desirable.
- Experience in working with online meeting platforms such as MS Teams, Zoom is desirable.
- Fluency in English and Thai is required.

Result of Service
Under overall supervision of the Chief, Conference Management Unit, the individual contractor will provide audio-visual technical support to the meetings/conferences held at the United Nations Conference Centre (UNCC), Bangkok in the year 2025. The individual contractors would perform the overall tasks efficiently and timely carry out throughout the meeting period.

Duties and Responsibilities
The Conference Management Unit of the Conference and General Services Section, Division of Administration, United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), is seeking short-term assistance for audio-visual technical support in the installation of the equipment including operation to the meetings/conferences held at the United Nations Conference Centre (UNCC), Bangkok in 2025. The individual contractor is required to perform the following functions: a. Provides assistance for the installation, setup, and operation of all audio and visual equipment during the meetings and events organized in UNCC. b. Undertakes proper operation and maintenance of all audio and visual equipment and systems installed at UNCC in accordance with established policies and procedures. c. Operates, installs, assembles repairs and service simultaneous interpretation equipment, video camera equipment, computers, PA and digital signage system. d. Configures and operates online streaming services e. Performs other related duties as required.

Languages

Additional Information
The service requirements are between 1-10 days for each meeting. The service fee is THB 2,500 per person per day.
