You have:
- Fluency in Tamil is mandatory for effective communication with students.
- Proficiency in English is required since the classes are conducted in English.
- Commitment to teach on any 2 consecutive days between 5:30-6:30 PM IST is essential.
- Some experience in teaching is preferred but not essential.

Offering online English classes is part of our literacy project for children and the youth. We hope to empower by educating them and developing their personalities. Volunteers will teach English and instill confidence for the students to pursue their career goals.
We are recruiting volunteers to conduct English classes for children in various states of Tamil Nadu, India.
Volunteers best suited for this opportunity are those who can converse in Tamil and proficient in English. Volunteers must be motivated, and willing to make a commitment. The class timings are
5-30 to 6-30 pm Indian Standard Time (Mon-Sun). You are required to teach the students on any 2 consecutive days of your choice. Please apply only if these timings suit you. Orientation will be given to all the volunteers.
Applicants will be interviewed via phone, Whatsapp/skype.
Applications without a CV will not be accepted.
Note: this assignment is for only Tamil Speaking volunteers, non-Tamil speaking applicants will be rejected.
Fluency in Tamil and English is required as the children are beginners. Some experience in teaching would be well looked upon but not necessary. Bear in mind that the children consider volunteers as their teacher, mentor and a friend.Therefore we need committed volunteers!
