We seek to build a youth policy Lab in Pakistan to help provide a one-stop shop for youth and youth practitioners who are interested in contributing to youth engagement in policymaking. To do so, we require an Online Volunteer to do a thorough desk review of existing and successful youth policy labs globally and in the region as well as a mapping of existing websites/resources in Pakistan that could be brought together under the umbrella of an online youth policy lab. The Online Volunteer will then make recommendations to inform the structure and content of the planned youth policy lab website/platform.

UNDP's Youth Empowerment Programme works closely with government, civil society, private sector and youth practitioners to support empowerment of youth. So far over 70k youth have been engaged. Following rounds of consultations between youth and the government to inform upcoming policy, we are looking to build a online platform for youth in Pakistan to become more involved in policy making as well as monitoring and accountability. To get started, we wish to conduct the desk review to identify successful models of online youth policy labs elsewhere as well as identify content/tools/partners who could contribute to the youth policy lab in Pakistan. The volunteer will help inform this process and make recommendations on how to set up the youth policy lab in Pakistan.
