The Online Volunteers are asked to define a Computer course and objectives for beginners. This includes the design of computer course content and assessment methods. Online Volunteers will be required to evaluate and revise existing curriculums as needed and ensure that they are in digital formats. Final step will be to train educators on the curriculum developed.

Offering online basic computer classes is part of our literacy project for children and youth. Through the knowledge and skills imparted from these classes, students will be empowered to become literate, self-confident, employable and independent citizens. Learning the fundamentals of keyboard and browser use can open the door to an infinite range of learning experiences. Through the knowledge and skills imparted by the volunteers, we will be able to empower the children/youth.
Volunteers: 12 needed
1-5 hours per week / 26 weeks
We are looking for candidates who have Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees in instructional design, or curriculum development. Preference will be given to those with IT background. Previous teaching experience (would be preferred). Strong computer skills and good English communication skills. Applicants without CV will be rejected.
