The annual salary range for this role is $80,000-$85,000 in New York.

The Global Industries Team is responsible for building and managing the Forum 20+ global Industry Communities and for the strategic engagement of Forum Partners from North America and Europe across Industry Communities, the 10 Forum Centres and Forum events. Its primary mission is to advance responsible industry transformation with technology as a key enabler.

The Forum is searching for an Industry Community Specialist, who will ensure alignment, consistency, and efficient operations across the Consumer and Health and Healthcare industry communities, in alignment with the vision, strategy and goals of the Global Industries Team.

The Industry Communities Specialist will report into the GIT Head of the Consumer and Health and Healthcare Industries Cluster.

Responsibilities of the Industry Community Specialist include:

  • Serving as the team’s point of contact for the management of Forum-wide internal processes and activities relevant to the Consumer and Health and Healthcare industry communities.

    • Supporting the timely planning and execution of team meetings, meetings for internal initiatives linked to retention and recruitment of Forum partners, and the commensurate action registers; providing general administrative support as needed, including at times the facilitation of meetings.
    • Providing organizational support by maintaining and owning internal databases, knowledge tools and team records.
    • Identify areas for continuous improvement and streamlining of the team’s processes and approach, including proactive recommendations and actions to enhance industry engagement.
    • Facilitating efforts for partner visits such as scheduling of meetings and creation of preparation materials
  • Supporting the engagement with partner companies with Forum’s industry dialogues and impact agendas and ensuring a seamless experience

    • Advancing the creation of industry value propositions via Power Point presentations.
    • Collaborating with the Head of Industry/Cluster with the development, communication, and execution of community dialogue series with senior executives – virtual and in person (e.g., Strategy Officers Communities); Ensuring follow-ups via meeting summaries and actionable next steps to be sent to internal and external executives.
    • Actively supporting team’s preparation with major in person Forum events such as the Annual Meeting in Davos and Industry Strategy Officers conferences: development of milestone calendars, conducting the research and recruitment of speakers and participants, and scheduling bilateral meetings with partners.

Preferred skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related area along with insights regarding industry trends in either Consumer and/or Health and Healthcare Industries.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience with a focus on strategy coordination, project management, communications, and process improvement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with ability to create collaborative relationships with team members and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Power Point, Excel); familiarity with Salesforce is highly preferred.
  • Intellectually curious; demonstrated experience in setting strategic priorities, conducting research, and sharing synthesized findings.
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational, project and time management skills; possess high attention to detail.
  • Thrive working in fast-paced, dynamic environments managing multiple tasks, where resilience, flexibility and self-starting attitude are must-haves.
  • Strong work ethic with a can-do attitude with willingness to take on necessary administrative tasks.

Vaccination requirement

The Forum LLC requires that employees be fully vaccinated with at least one booster against COVID-19 by their first day of employment. The Forum will evaluate all requests for accommodation/exemption from this policy in keeping with federal, state, and local law.
