Mobilize and engage communities in Save the Children activities.

You have:

  • Degree in Social Sciences, Communication, or equivalent with 2 to 3 years of professional experience in project management.
  • Proficiency in computer tools: Word, Excel.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in public and to any audience in the community.
  • Good mastery of the local dialect and French.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Holding a driving license type A.

Dans le cadre de ses activités, Save the Children recrute trois (03) Community Mobiliser Officers pour un contrat local à durée indéterminée.

Responsabilités principales du poste :

Placés sous la responsabilité du Field Manager, ils ont pour missions principales de :

  • Mobiliser et faire comprendre aux leaders communautaires et à leurs membres les activités de Save the Children sur le terrain
  • Elaborer des sessions de formation à l’intention des travailleurs indépendants pour leur permettre de développer leurs activités
  • Mobiliser les communautés locales sur les activités de l’ONG
  • Servir de liaison entre Save the Children et les communautés locales
  • Elaborer des rapports mensuels de qualité

Profil requis pour le poste :

  • Titulaire d’un diplôme de licence en Sciences Sociales, Communication ou équivalent avec 2 à 3 ans d’expériences professionnelles en gestion de projets dans une organisation internationale ou une multinationale
  • Maîtrise de l’outil informatique : Word, Excel
  • Aptitude à bien communiquer en public et à tout type d’audience dans la communauté
  • Bonne maîtrise du dialecte local et du Français
  • Capacité à travailler sous pression
  • Titulaire d’un Permis de conduire A
