You have:
- Previous experience in community development, facilitation, or related roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, community development, public administration, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and community development tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups.

Community Engagement, Program Development and Capacity Building
- Actively support Project Coordinator and Area Manager and in project planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting processes relevant to assigned areas.
- Mobilise and prepare communities for smooth project implementation for enhanced impact.
- Build and maintain relationships with community members, leaders, and stakeholders.
- Facilitate and organize various project events/training /meeting in the communities as part of the project implementation
- Design and implement community development programs and initiatives.
- Coordinate resources and activities to support project objectives.
- Provide training and support to community members and organizations.
- Empower communities to take ownership of development efforts.
Building Relationships
- Live among the people, endeavoring to witness to Christ through life.
- Build close and constructive relationships and actively learn within partner communities in order to understand their realities and facilitate development processes effectively.
- Communicate effectively World Vision’s identity, mission, vision, values and our approach to work in ways that are contextually appropriate and clear.
- Ensure that dialogue includes whole communities inclusive of their diversity.
- Undertake social networks analysis in order to understand the functions various stakeholders fulfil, power dynamics, potential for partnership and capacity building needs.
Monitoring and Evaluation:
- Track and evaluate the effectiveness of community programs and initiatives.
- Assist the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Team and Project Coordinator in data collection processes for project monitoring, evaluation and reports.
- Together with M&E Team utilize the monitoring system and tools of project implementation and to capture learning.
General Responsibilities
- Attend and participate in weekly chapel services and regular devotional meetings.
- Support in hosting the visits of sponsors, donors, and WV staff from other.

- Assist in humanitarian emergency disaster management
Required Professional Experience

Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, community development, public administration, or a related field
Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and community development tools.
- Understanding of community development principles and practices.
