Mobilize communities and promote sustainable interventions.

You have:

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in developmental interventions.
  • Minimum Community Development Graduate (SINU) Diploma.
  • Computer skills needed.
  • Understanding of poverty and community empowerment approaches to development.
  • Good communication skills, including local knowledge.
  • Ability to read and write in English.
  • Problem-solving skills are necessary.
  • Knowledge of Data Collection Methodology (DMN).
  • Convincing and mobilizing skills required.
  • Ability to work in a diverse culture.
  • Networking skills needed.
  • Resource mobilizing skills at the local level.

To bring desirable changes in the community we serve by building capacity of the people and thereby sustaining their development.

The basic purpose of this position is to organize and mobilize the community to ensure sustainable impact and ownership of the Program/project interventions, as well as to be the direct implementer and information gathered in the project communities.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Mobilize and Engage Communities to participate in project activities
  • Implementation of project activities
  • Reporting

KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE:

  • 2 to 3 Yrs. of experience in developmental interventions
