Job Description

- Establish a link between IRC, the refugee community, and the host community for coordination. - Prepare and design activity plan in coordination with Community-based Protection Assistant (weekly and/or monthly depending on activities delivered) adapted to different target groups - (Men, women, children) o Activities includes Learning activities including skills training, life skills, recreational activities, initiatives, psychosocial support sessions, awareness sessions, focus group discussions, community days, informal education activities and information desk - Deliver and facilitate activities in person and/or remotely only if the situation permits. - Conduct outreach activities in Arsal - Collect and record the attendance of activities on daily basis. - Maintain updated storage of information by using the appropriate information collection tools (Kobo tool developed by UNHCR, excel documents and other as needed) - Perform Pre/Post evaluation for activities when necessary and report on progress. - Coordinate with the CBP Assistant to receive constant and timely updates on information to be fully capable of manning the information service desk. - Identify refugees with specific needs, provide them with necessary counselling and refer them to the existing services. - Report to Senior Case Management Officer on high-risk cases that are in need of urgent and im- mediate support or assistance needed with the knowledge of the CBP Assistant. - Respect confidentiality of information between your role as CDC Facilitator and IRC; no sharing with any other party - Information is collected during meetings at the center with the CBP Assistant which is then dealt with confidentially. - Abide by the code of conduct: o Act according to the guiding principles of GBV and Child Protection case management, including, survivor centered approach, respect of confidentiality, prioritizing according to safety concerns, ‘do no harm’ policy, ensure a non-discriminatory approach, act according to the best interest of the beneficiary, ensure accountability, respect professional boundaries, and avoid conflict of interest. - Be ready for flexible working hours during emergencies and/or if needed. - Flexibility to work on weekends on exceptional basis. - Take responsibility of specific materials and equipment’s within the CDC. - Ensure that the provided material is properly used and kept.

Qualifications

- Good facilitation experience with different age groups (children, youth, adults, and elderlies). - Good protection background and knowledge of refugee context and working with the refugee community. - Good knowledge on community center activities (recreational, life skills, community initia- tives, skills training, etc.) - Ability to outreach and conduct mobile based activities. - working hours will be scheduled with the line manager ahead of time, based on the need and workload in order to submit all the deliverables on time. - Good computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel). - Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, creativity and flexibility with a positive at- titude. - Fluency in Arabic required, ability to communicate and write clearly in English preferred. - Degree in Social work or other related field.
