Engage and facilitate assessments on harmful cultural practices.

You have:

  • Bachelor Degree in Social Science or any related field.
  • Demonstrable experience in child protection, child rights.
  • Strong monitoring skills.
  • Interpersonal, management and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) knowledge of the local language.
  • Knowledge of MS Office and statistical programs.
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically to project sites.
  • Physically fit in good health situation.

  • Engage and facilitate assessments on knowledge, attitude and practices on harmful traditions in the target communities.
  • Support faith leader forums to follow up on community dialogues on harmful attitudes and cultural practices facilitated by trained faith leaders within the target district.
  • Support FFLFs through organizing regular coordination meetings with key district level faith leaders to follow up on progress of action plans developed by trained faith leaders addressing harmful cultural/social practices
  • Assist faith leaders forum to organize quarterly coordination meetings to discuss and address feedback from the district level community consultation meetings
  • KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND EXPERIENCE

    Required Education, training, license, registration, and/or

    Certification

  • Bachelor Degree in Social Science or any related field.
  • Required Professional Experience
  • Demonstrable experience in child protection, child rights
  • Strong monitoring skills
  • Interpersonal, management and conflict resolution skills.
  • Communication skills and knowledge of local communities.
  • Knowledge of MS Office and statistical programs
  • Required Language(s)

    Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) knowledge of the local language

    Required travel and/or work environment accommodations
