Contract
This is a UNV International Specialist contract. This kind of contract is known as International UN Volunteer. It is normally internationally recruited only. More about UNV International Specialist contracts.
Description of task
Under the direct supervision of the Country Representative and with collaboration with the Deputy Representative and communications team, the UN Volunteer will undertake the following tasks:
- Develop statements and/or talking points for selected programme areas;
- Develop opinion editorials, statements, talking points and social media handles for specific events;
- Undertake necessary research to generate a stock of articles;
- Translate speeches into advocacy products and presentations for specific audiences – policy makers, donors, partners and the mass media;
- Provide communication support commemoration to key calendar events including International Women’s Day, International Youth Day, 16 Days of Activism; etc
