About Communications Team

The WRI India Core Communications team, based in New Delhi and Mumbai, oversees the strategy and outreach for the institute in support of WRI India’s leadership, program teams, and centers. Communication is crucial to WRI India’s success in achieving rapid, systemic changes.

About the role

As a communications consultant, WRI India’s flagship event— Connect Karo 2025, scheduled for September 2-3, 2025. You will be tasked with executing the communications strategy and engaging with stakeholders before and during the event.

Professional Qualifications & Experience

  • Master's degree in communications or a relevant field with minimum 10 years' experience

  • Candidates with experience in working with journalism and public relations will be preferred

  • Candidates experienced in working with think tanks and organizations specializing in climate change will be preferred

Salary and Benefits:

Salary shall be commensurate with experience and skills. WRI offers a generous and comprehensive benefits package.

Location: Delhi (non-negotiable)

Duration: 2 months term hire

Start Date: July 5 (non-negotiable)
