You have:

The UNFPA Viet Nam Country Office is committed to advancing sexual and reproductive health and rights, with a focus on ensuring that every pregnancy is wanted, every childbirth is safe, and every young person’s potential is fulfilled. Through its strategic plan (2022-2025), UNFPA continues to address key issues, such as maternal health, unmet family planning needs, and gender-based violence, in alignment with the ICPD and SDGs.
The Volunteer will support UNFPA’s communications efforts, particularly in creating digital content and promoting ongoing campaigns targeting women, girls, and younger audiences. He/she will play a vital role in disseminating UNFPA’s key messages, supporting media outreach, and contributing to the development of communications products. He/she will support the UNFPA Viet Nam team in various aspects of digital and media communications not only on traditional technical areas of sexual and reproductive health, maternal health, gender-based violence but also on emerging issues such as climate change and youth engagement, disaster preparedness and humanitarian response, aging, care economy and silver economy.
The tasks will include creating content for social media platforms, assisting with campaign delivery in coordination with other UN agencies, and producing multimedia content for events. He/she will also help with designing communication products and contributing to video production and photo-taking. The role will offer hands-on experience in developing impactful communication strategies that highlight UNFPA’s work in Viet Nam, contributing to the agency’s visibility and engagement with its target audience.
Under the direct supervision of Communications Officer, the UN Volunteer will undertake the following tasks:
Support in finding media opportunities and assist with creating and publishing written and visual content for social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, UNFPA Viet Nam website) drawing on UNFPA’s wider global communications plans and social media cards.
Support in digital communications delivery for UNFPA Viet Nam’s campaigns in coordination with other UN Agencies as relevant;
Support in providing briefing and key messages to senior managers for media interviews.
Contribute to the design of communication products (backdrops, media cards etc.) via Canva or other graphic design platforms.
Participate in recording, production, and editing of videos and/or taking photos during events as required.
Carry out other tasks as assigned by the direct supervisor and the CO Management.
