You have:

  • At least one year professional work experience after graduation in administration tasks, communications and design.
  • Excellent reporting, oral and written communication skills.

This is a UNV National Youth contract. This kind of contract is known as National UN Volunteer. It is normally only for nationals. More about UNV National Youth contracts.

The WFP DRC CAM team is looking to recruit support to deliver a limited number of routine communications and business tasks, to ensure that CAM staff are effectively supported.

The candidate will be part of the CAM team and work closely with all units and especially procurement, finance, and admin. He/she will contribute to our visibility, branding and external outreach with other UN agencies and partners.

1.Collect, sort, and disseminate correspondence, reports, and other materials: Ensure that all communication materials, procurement documentation, and financial reports are organized and distributed promptly to meet the demands of the staff.

2.Respond to routine queries: Address simple routine queries with readily available support from senior staff. Escalate when necessary to provide timely and accurate responses to inquiries.

3.Maintain office files, documents, and records: Ensure that all documents, records, and procurement-related files are well-maintained and organized in accordance with established systems and processes. This helps keep information current and readily available for staff.

4.Undertake data entry tasks: Perform standard data entry tasks following defined systems to ensure information is well-organized and easily accessible. 5.Create visual materials: Assist in creating multimedia products using standardized templates to support the drafting of reports, presentations, and banners, factsheets, among other materials in line with WFP's visual guidelines.

6.Support knowledge management and media monitoring: Assist in monitoring and managing media and knowledge resources to stay updated on relevant information and trends.

7.Support external events: Play a key role in organizing and managing external events. This includes taking photos, providing translation services, and managing visibility efforts during events.

8.Coordinate with procurement and finance units: Collaborate with these units to produce and purchase WFP visibility materials and merchandise to support colleagues in the field and enhance donor visibility.
