In fiscal year 2021, IFC committed a record $31.5 billion to private companies and financial institutions in developing countries, leveraging the power of the private sector to end extreme poverty and boost shared prosperity as economies grapple with the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. IFC’s Corporate Support Vice Presidency is responsible for communications, outreach and partnerships, alongside other core functions, including human resources, budget, and information and technology systems. The Vice Presidency supports the implementation of IFC’s business strategy for effective delivery of our programs to clients and partners, in close collaboration with relevant counterparts across the World Bank Group.

The department has three integrated units that facilitate strategic engagement with both internal and external stakeholders: Corporate Communications, Regional Communications, and Global Industry and Thematic Communications.

The Creative Productions team, within the Corporate Communications unit, creates and manages high-quality campaigns and creative content that communicate the institution’s most strategic priorities. The team embraces strategic risk-taking, experiments with innovative communications techniques, and produces an array of written, visual, audio, and digital storytelling products. The team also oversees the new IFC multimedia studio, which will be used to produce high-quality video and audio content, including broadcast media interviews.

• Control room functions including video and audio recording and streaming, including with remote staff and outside organizations;

• Editing and producing video and audio content, often against tight deadlines and, at times, outside traditional working hours;

• Acting as a production assistant as needed, following through to make sure assets are acquired, editing and reviews are timely, and meeting high production standards.

• Overseeing digital archives including appropriate storage and maintenance.
