OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME

L'objectif du poste est d'assurer la production et la diffusion en temps voulu d'informations publiques de haute qualite sur les problemes de sante publique de longue date et emergents par le biais de diverses plates-formes (presse ecrite, Web, radiodiffusion, medias sociaux, etc.) en francais ;Contribuer a la gestion de la reputation de l'OMS Niger en surveillant l'opinion et les preoccupations du public et en y repondant de maniere strategique; et diriger la reponse strategique en matiere de communication publique.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

Les principales responsabilites consisteront a promouvoir des strategies de communication efficaces et a assurer la visibilite effective et de qualite des actions et des resultats de l'OMS Niger a travers les plateformes publiques. Il s'engagera avec les experts techniques au sein de l'organisation pour promouvoir le travail, les objectifs et les realisations de l'OMS. Le titulaire assurera egalement la liaison avec un large eventail de responsables de la presse et des medias, des organisations et institutions partenaires, des publics cibles, de la sante.1. Identifier les sujets/histoires d'interet pour developper et ameliorer lesactivites mediatiques/de communication relatives aux efforts de l'OMS Niger.Concevoir une strategie, un plan, des materiels et des outils de communicationde pointe fondes sur les orientations mondiales et regionales de l'OMS ;assurer la diffusion rapide et opportune de l'information a toutes les cibles.2. Assurer la liaison avec lapresse et les medias pour promouvoir et diffuser des informations sur lesactivites de l'OMS ainsi que sur les manifestations pertinentes telles que les campagnes de l'OMS. Organiser des interviews et des occasions de tournage pour soutenir une grande visibilite des realisations de l'OMS Niger a travers la television, la radio et les journaux, etc.3. Appuyer l'elaboration et lamise a jour du contenu du site Web du pays, conformement aux directives et aux normes utilisees dans l'ensemble de l'Organisation, afin d'assurer la coherence de l'approche. 4. Rechercher et rediger des reportages et des messages, idealement en apportant un element humain a partir d'experiences de la vie reelle.5. Preparer des produits et des declarations de communication et de plaidoyer qui seront utilises parl'equipe de mobilisation des ressources pour convaincre et encourager lesdonateurs a financer rapidement la reponse globale du secteur de la sante aux populations touchees.6. Collaborer avec tous les acteurs concernes, y compris le groupe sectoriel sante, les bureaux regionauxet exterieurs, les autres departements de l'OMS, les agences des Nations Unies et d'autres partenaires pour identifier et creer des opportunites de communication et preparer des campagnes de communication sur des sujets specifiques.7. S'acquitter de toutes autres taches connexes propres a la communication externe, qui pourraient lui etre confiees par le superviseur fonctionnel.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Essential: Un premier diplome universitaire en communication, journalisme, sciences politiques ou relations internationales ou dans un domaine connexe d'un institut accredite / reconnu. Desirable: Cours sur les techniques de communication telles que la conception graphique, le langage visuel et l'utilisation des medias sociaux. La formationen photographie, tournage video est un atout.

Experience

Essential: Au moinsdeux (2) annees d'experience en communication externe, journalisme,ou domaines connexes. Experience dans la gestion des medias sociaux et dans la prise de photos ou le tournage de videos de qualite professionnelle. Desirable: Experience professionnelle anterieure aupres de l'OMS/ONU ou d'une organisation non gouvernementale internationale ; Experience de l'organisation de campagnes de plaidoyer.

Competences averees dans l'elaboration de contenu redactionnel et multimedia.Competences dans la gestion de reseaux sociaux institutionnels. REMUNERATION

Remuneration comprises an annual base salary starting at XOF 16,379,000 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance, as applicable) and 30 days of annual leave.
