Description of task

Under the direct supervision of the, Technical Officer, WHO, the International UN Volunteer will carry out the following tasks:

1. Review and edit donor proposals for the Myanmar Covid19 vaccination rollout and the revitalization of routine immunization in Myanmar

2. Review and edit donor and project reporting

3. Develop communication materials related to Covid19 vaccination roll-out in Myanmar in coordination with WHO technical staff

4. Provide coordination with UN and INGO partners on the Covid19 vaccination roll-out in Myanmar

5. Research and draft internal memos on Covid19 vaccination roll-out in Myanmar

6. Other ad-hoc communication related tasks

Educational additional comments

Master's degree or equivalent communication, journalism, public relations or related areas

Experience remark

• 3 years of relevant experience in Communications, public relations, publishing or advocacy (experience with International Organizations and UN an asset)
• Experience in designing and implementing communication and media outreach strategies and plans in support of corporate goals
• Demonstrated experience in developing content that clearly communicates development ideas for media, web, print production and audio-visual productions
• Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages Experience in handling of web-based communications (social media)

Language skills

• English(Mandatory), Level - Fluent
