Overview

Support WFP Timor-Leste with communication and multimedia tasks.

You have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Film, Television or Communication.
  • Postgraduate Studies in Communications desirable.
  • Skills in video and photo editing software (Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Audition, Adobe Photoshop, etc.) are required.
  • Five (5) years or more in producing audiovisual content for digital platforms, including script writing and editing of video and photography.
  • Availability: 6-10 hours per week during the assignment period.

WFP in Timor-Leste intends to improve the visibility of its work in the country and seeks support from Online Volunteers who are qualified and have experience in communications and digital media creation. The role of the Online Volunteers will help to enhance the visibility and reputation of WFP in Timor-Leste and ensure that external communications align with WFP’s brand, the country office communication strategy, and the Country Strategic Plan (CSP) and in support of the Government of Timor-Leste’s nutrition and food security objectives.

The Online Volunteers will be assigned with the following tasks:

• Video editing: Support draft and design engaging social media content (text and media) for WFP Timor-Leste’s social media channels.

• Media Design and Production: Assist in creating visuals and multimedia content for various communication platforms.

• Communication Campaigns: Support the creation and development of key messages, contents, and storytelling of communication campaigns such as international commemorations and awareness-raising initiatives.

• Media Monitoring: Review news and other online media outlets for mentions of WFP, compiling relevant information and producing regular reports.

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Film, Television or Communication. Postgraduate Studies in Communications desirable.

• Experience: Five (5) years or more in producing audiovisual content for digital platforms, including script writing and editing of video and photography.
