Impact Venture Accelerators (IVAs) aim to build both business, sector specific and impact measurement and management capacity of startups. UNDP Indonesia under the Innovative Financing Lab (IFL) has implemented Accelerators since 2019 with Impact Aim, She Disrupts Indonesia (SDI) in 2021 and 2023 as well as Blue Finance Accelerator (BFA). The Impact Investing workstream in IFL has conducted post-programme survey for Impact Aim alumni in 2020 that intends to better understand each startup’s business and impact progress, lessons learned and experiences in rebuild better business after COVID-19.

Under ASSIST JP, where SDI 2023 and BFA was implemented, the team is looking for the support of 2 Online Volunteers to assist in survey design, data collection and simple analysis of the alumnus from SDI 2023 and BFA.

For the collection of data on post-program successes and challenges of UNDP Indonesia IVA alumni startups, we seek support from 2 Online Volunteers, who under the guidance of ASSIST JP Component 3 team, UNDP Indonesia will:

  • Discuss and define objective as well as data collection methodology
  • Develop or identify a methodology tool for data collection, if required, and propose implementation plan
  • Identify and screen for data sources
  • Conduct data collection using defined methodology and tools from selected sources (data collection methods include interviews, surveys)
  • Create/prepare simple analysis and reporting in capturing findings

Candidates should have in-depth understanding of concept of data collection and experience in conducting qualitative/quantitative data collection. An advanced degree in the area of data to be collected is considered an advantage. Professional level of verbal and written English is required.
