We are looking for volunteers to conduct online English classes for children in Lahore,Pakistan. Volunteers best suited for this opportunity will be proficient both in Urdu and English. We need dedicated volunteers who are willing to make a long term commitment in teaching 2 classes per week via Skype for 26 weeks. The duration of each class is about an hour. All applicants will be interviewed via Skype or phone. Orientation will be given to all the volunteers. Classes are held between 4 PM to 6 PM,Pakistan time. Classes are conducted online via Skype. Volunteers are expected to have good internet connection. Curriculum will be given.

Offering online English classes is part of our literacy project for children and youth. We hope to develop the English communication skills of children and youth for acquiring fulfilling and rewarding employment opportunities in the future. We focus on empowering the children in developing countries. Volunteers will be preparing children to be literate, employable, and independent lifelong learners.

1-5 hours per week / 26 weeks
Please apply only if you are fluent both in Urdu and English as the these children are beginners in English. Some experience in teaching would be great but not necessary. Please upload your CV in your application.We will not accept application with out CV. Short term volunteers are not accepted.
