Overview

Supervise clinical counselors to ensure quality care and professional growth.

You have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field is required.
  • Certificate in professional supervision is required.
  • Master’s degree or higher in counselling psychology or related field is desirable.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in counselling psychology or related field is required.
  • Fluency in both English and French are required.

Result of Service

50 minutes session, three times a month for the Staff Counsellors Office, comprising of two Staff Counsellors and a Staff Welfare Assistant. The fees are up to a maximum of 160 CHF per session.

Duties and Responsibilities

This position is located in the Staff Counsellors Office (SCO), Human Resources Management Service, Division of Administration, United Nations Office at Geneva. Supervision in the counselling context ensures good quality of care, maintains competent practice and supports the counsellors’ responsibilities towards the client. It is mandatory for psychosocial practitioners. Qualifications/special skills

Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field is required. Certificate in professional supervision is required. Master’s degree or higher in counselling psychology or related field is desirable. A minimum of 15 years of experience in counselling psychology or related field is required.

Languages

English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For the post advertised, fluency in both English and French are required.
