UNDP Egypt is seeking the support of four online volunteers to contribute to its climate finance and environmental programming. The volunteers will assist in identifying climate change initiatives and financing opportunities in Egypt, and support the organization of related events. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to gain insight into climate policy and development programming in Egypt.

Under the supervision of the UNDP Egypt Environment and Climate team, the online volunteers will:

Conduct a desk study on climate change initiatives in Egypt. Research and compile a list of climate finance opportunities relevant to Egypt. Support the preparation and coordination of UNDP-led events related to climate and environment.

Deliverables: - A report summarizing key climate change initiatives in Egypt. - A compiled list of climate finance mechanisms and opportunities. - Event support materials (e.g., background notes, logistics checklists).

Recent graduate or current student in economics, engineering, science, environment, or related fields. Fluent in Arabic and English. Strong research and writing skills.
