- Fluency in English, spoken and written. Relevant second language abilities preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Job Description
Job Overview/Summary: The Client Services Assistant provides administrative and client support services to the Resettlement team, refugees, and other qualified immigrants to support the best possible resettlement experience and the achievement of client self-sufficiency. They carry out services with a strong emphasis on empowerment through a strengths-based approach that supports clients to thrive in their community.
Major Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Provide a wide variety of direct client services through a trauma-informed framework that safeguards and promotes the dignity and self-determination of clients. Connect clients with IRC and partner resources with a focus on clear and timely communication.
· Work across teams (Employment, Health and Wellness, Resettlement, Education, Immigration) to communicate client information, advocate on their behalf, and support the coordination of services. Ensure cross-departmental dissemination of intake information regarding newly enrolled clients.
· Perform various administrative tasks including but not limited to financial reconciliations, requesting checks, and printing vouchers. Coordinate and track the receipt and distribution of client documents and complete data entry procedures in accordance with program and organizational requirements. Prepare client applications for Social Security.
· Develop and maintain partnerships with community organizations for client referrals as needed.
· Assist in setting up client utilities.
· Satisfy recordkeeping requirements.
· Assist caseworkers with case management duties, as needed.
· Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:

Working Environment: Standard Office Work Environment, potentially supplemented with occasional remote work.
