You have:

  • Fluency in English is required.

We are looking for Online Volunteers to analyze/research the global food waste solutions especially in Asian market. The Online Volunteer will be responsible for researching the current state of food waste issues in Asian countries, efforts that have been made by key stakeholders in each countries and its challenges and opportunities. The research is expected to be done in English. This will help Clear Plate identify potential oversea market for expansion and inspire and empower everyone to take actions against food waste.

    Clear Plate (http://www.clearplate.com/) is part of UNDP Youth Co:Lab Springboard programme. It is a social enterprise born in 2018, aims to tackle food waste problem and reduce food waste using AI technology. So far, Clear Plate has inspired 500K Chinese users to join the no food waste movement online. We are trying to expand our market overseas in 2021, but due to different users habits, marketing skills, customs between Chinese and other countries, Clear Plate plans to identify suitable and proper priority markets by research as the first step for moving ahead. So we hope to look for volunteers to search and analyze partnership opportunities overseas, and hope through our initiative we could make contributions to SDG 12 and reduce food waste together.

    The volunteer needs to be fluent in English. Experience in qualitative data analysis and ability to synthesize large quantities of information into easy to understand findings are preferential.
