DRC Syria

DRC has been actively operating in Syria since 2008 mainly supporting refugees. In June 2012, DRC was authorized by the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) to expand its humanitarian efforts and provide assistance to IDPs and the vulnerable resident population countrywide. Since then, DRC activities have been focused on NFI distributions, Shelter, WASH, Protection, Education, Livelihoods and Mine Risk Education in six Governorates (Damascus, Rural Damascus, Dara'a, Aleppo, Hama, and Homs). While Protection/community service activities are provided to beneficiaries throughout our six Community Centers.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the Office and for maintaining high standards of hygiene.
• Provide a list of needed kitchen and cleaning supplies to the HR/Admin officer.
• Provide hospitality for clients and guests on a daily basis.
• Properly maintain cleaning materials and equipment.
• Other duties as assigned by the DRC.

Experience and technical competencies: (include years of experience)

• 1-2 previous experiences as a cleaner/Office Tea-person
• Basic English proficiency
• Fluent in Local Language
• Demonstrate integrity, honesty, and proactivity.
• The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• The ability to follow health and safety standards.
• Previous experience in international organizations or/ UN Agencies organizations is an added advantage.

Education:

Minimum Qualification: Basic Education Certificate

Languages:

Arabic and English

المجلس الدنماركي للاجئين - سوريا

يعمل المجلس الدنماركي للاجئين في سوريا منذ عام 2008 لدعم اللاجئين بشكل أساسي. في يونيو 2012 تم تفويض المجلس الدنماركي للاجئين من قبل وزارة الخارجية السورية لتوسيع جهودها الإنسانية وتقديم المساعدة للنازحين والسكان المستصعفين المقيمين في جميع أنحاء البلاد. ومنذ ذلك الحين ، تركزت أنشطة المجلس الدنماركي للاجئين على توزيع المواد غير الغذائية ، والإيواء، والمياه والصرف الصحي، والحماية ، والتعليم ، وتحسين سبل العيش ، والتوعية من مخاطر الألغام في ست محافظات (دمشق وريف دمشق ودرعا وحلب وحماة وحمص). بينما يتم توفير أنشطة الحماية للمستفيدين عبر مراكزنا المجتمعية الستة.

• مهام أخرى حسب الحاجة.
• الحلول محل عاملي التنظيف الآخرين عند الضرورة

• خبرة بين عام إلى عامين في مجال التنظيف
• معرفة أساسية باللغة الأنجليزية
• إتقان اللغة العربية

• القدرة على الالتزام بمعايير الصحة والسلامة
• الخبرة سابقة في العمل ضمن المنظمات الدولية أو وكالات الأمم المتحدة تعد من الميزات
