Overview
Oversee the implementation of child protection interventions in Rohingya camps.
You have:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in implementing child protection or protection programs, with a preference for backgrounds in humanitarian settings or development context.
- Strong knowledge of child rights violence monitoring and protection monitoring tools, techniques, and best practices.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Solid understanding of child protection interventions and experience with data management tools relevant to child protection programs.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and build capacity among partners and stakeholders.
- Previous experience supervising and managing teams in a cross-cultural, humanitarian setting.
- Demonstrated expertise in working with vulnerable children and a deep understanding of child protection issues.
- Proven experience in capacity building and mentoring staff to enhance program implementation.
- Fluency in English and Bangla is required; proficiency in Chittagong is desirable.
- Knowledge of the Cox’s Bazar context and the Rohingya humanitarian response is highly advantageous.
- Personal attributes: Team player, adaptable, effective network builder, and able to perform well under pressure.
- Master’s degree in Social Welfare/work, Sociology, International Relations, Anthropology, Development studies, or a related field.
