You have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline is essential
  • Minimum 2 years’ working experience in community development is essential
  • Demonstrate fluency in reading, writing, and speaking the Myanmar language. Proficiency in any ethnic language is considered an added advantage.
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English are desirable
  • Must be in good health (mentally and physically) is essential
  • Good knowledge of Child Rights and Child Law, understanding children affected by armed conflict is preferred
  • Detail-oriented, mature, professional, and able to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Interest in using social media is essential

Key Responsibilities:

Major Responsibilities

Ensure the quality of the information/ data Incidents are documented based on the agreed form and online application

  • Make quality check of the information collected through the CTFMR-operated phone line using the CTFMR-agreed information collection format for reporting to the Child Protection Helpline and follow up on any missing information. And need to collect the data as well for CP and PSEA helpline.
  • Record all CP incidents using standardized CP/CTFMR data collection forms.
  • The information entered in the online system and in the recorded forms must be reviewed to ensure its accuracy and correctness.
  • Track the progress of cases, report to the supervisor, and ensure that follow-up actions are carried out in a timely manner for cases that require further action.

Systematic filing system (Any received call had to be recorded in the designated format)

  • Ensure that any received call through the hotline is properly recorded using the designated format.
  • For children under the age of 18, the required form must be completed and submitted to the supervisor in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with World Vision field staff to follow up on Joint Verification cases and collect necessary documentation for children in complex situations (such as detention or frontline cases), ensuring the safety of the affected children and facilitating their release.

Monitor and Report the Data Submitted (weekly, Monthly and Quarterly) to UNICEF/ CTFMR through Project Manager

  • Monthly and quarterly reports need to be submitted to the supervisor or Project Manager in a timely manner. In addition, reports shall be provided to World Vision upon request, even if such requests fall outside the established reporting schedule.

Capacity Building for Hotline operators

  • Regular training to Hotline operators in cooperation with technical people from internal or external to strengthen information collection and analysis.
  • Identify the capacity-building training needs for hotline operators in collaboration with the project team and develop an annual training plan.
  • Weekly, Monthly meeting with Hotline operators / supervisor / Project Manager

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline is essential
  • Minimum 2 years’ working experience in community development is essential
  • Demonstrate fluency in reading, writing, and speaking the Myanmar language. Proficiency in any ethnic language is considered an added advantage.
  • Able to understand local language is desirable.
  • The position is based at the National Office and requires frequent field visits to project locations, including regions, states, townships, and villages.
  • Must be good health (mentally and physically) is essential
  • Good knowledge of Child Rights and Child Law, well understanding of children affected by armed conflict is preferred
  • Detail-oriented, mature, professional, and able to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English are desirable
  • Interest in using social media, good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential
