You have:
- Diploma in Social Works, Human Rights or other related field.
- At least 3 years' experience in child protection in emergency or post-conflict environment.
- Proven experience in case management, psychosocial support (directly or indirectly) and access to justice.
- Good knowledge of Child Protection in Emergency Minimum Standards, CPIMS(+), GBV international best practices.
- Excellent work experience in training facilitation, mentoring and capacity development.
- Must be a South Sudanese National.

Programme Implementation and leadership: Responsible for operation and functionality of the Child Friendly Spaces, Youth Center, PSS services for children with psychosocial needs and child SGBV survivors, case management and referral systems for children, and community engagement. Where challenges arise, ensure that these are flagged early, communicated to the Protection Coordinator, and if necessary, to the Project Team Leader and addressed in an appropriate way
Support the Protection Coordinator to develop, implement and monitor weekly, monthly and quarterly activity plans to achieve expected results. Ensure timely and quality reports are submitted as required by the project
Provide follow-up support to child protection training in coordination with the Protection Coordinator and the program team
Assessments and information/data management: With the support of the Protection Coordinator, identify the need and conduct safety assessments and safety audits, Heightened Risk and Vulnerability Assessments, BIA/BID processes, develop protection incident monitoring system, ensuring that CP/SGBV incidents (with keen attention to unaccompanied and separated children, PWD and minorities/marginalized) are immediately identified and reported within 48hours.
Community-based and survivor’s centered approach: Work closely with the Child Protection Committees and GBV Group and resource persons; create a supportive environment in which a survivor's rights are respected and in which s/he is treated with dignity and respect and ensures physical and emotional safety
Awareness and advocacy: Conduct awareness sessions in the community and seek positive social redress on child protection
Peoples Management: Mentor community mobilizers and CFS Animators, support them to set performance objectives ensuring that they achieve their performance objectives and program results
Minimum education, training and experience requirements to qualify for the position
- Diploma in Social Works, Human Rights or other related field.
- At least 3 years’ experience in child protection in emergency or post-conflict environment
- Proven experience in case management, psychosocial support (directly or indirectly) and access to justice
- Good knowledge of Child Protection in Emergency Minimum Standards, CPIMS(+), GBV international best practices, including IASC GBV Guidelines, Caring for Survivors, SOPs, GBVIMS
- Excellent work experience in training facilitation, mentoring and capacity development
- Energetic and self-motivated, with skills in community mobilization, training, and teambuilding;
- Proven analytical, problem-solving skills and comfortable working under minimal supervision;
- Highly organized, efficient, and able to meet key deadlines;
- Must be a South Sudanese National
