You have:
- Experience in driving light vehicles, trucks, and motorcycles is required.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and ability to keep vehicles in good condition.
- Ability to perform simple administrative tasks such as filing and photocopying when needed.
- Basic knowledge of traffic regulations and security protocols of the United Nations.
- Ability to interact with officials and visitors in a polite and efficient manner.

Ce poste est à pourvoir au bureau pays PAM Abidjan, chaque fois que le bureau pays sera en effectif insuffisant de chauffeur donc sous la forme d’ "engagement sur la base des services effectifs". Le titulaire relève directement de la Chargé(e) de la gestion du parc automobile et indirectement du chargé des Services de gestion (administration), ou de son ou sa suppléant(e), et conduit des véhicules légers, des camions, des fourgons, des motos ou tout autre moyen de transport terrestre. Le poste peut nécessiter d'effectuer des tâches administratives simples dans les bureaux ou les entrepôts.PRINCIPALES FONCTIONS ET RESPONSABILITÉS (liste indicative et non exhaustive):
- Assurer le transport du personnel habilité, et éventuellement traduire à cette occasion des échanges simples avec des interlocuteurs parlant la langue locale, et assurer la livraison de divers articles ou marchandises en respectant les itinéraires autorisés et les textes réglementaires des Nations Unies relatifs à la sûreté et à la sécurité afin de fournir des services de manière sûre et efficiente.
- Accueillir le personnel officiel et les visiteurs à l'aéroport ou à d'autres points d'entrée et les aider à s'acquitter des formalités usuelles de visa et de douane de sorte qu'ils puissent rejoindre sans encombre et en toute sécurité les destinations autorisées.
- Tenir rigoureusement à jour le carnet d'entretien des véhicules et communiquer au ou à la responsable hiérarchique un état quotidien de leur état mécanique, afin d'assurer une utilisation des véhicules et une consommation de carburant efficientes à l'appui d'une comptabilité précise et d'un bon rapport coût-efficacité.
- Vérifier que le véhicule assigné est maintenu en bon état de propreté et de fonctionnement, y compris tous les équipements, que l'entretien est fait dans les délais impartis, que toutes les autorisations de voyage sont à bord du véhicule et que celui-ci est bien équipé du matériel obligatoire, et que les problèmes mécaniques sont signalés le cas échéant au ou à la responsable hiérarchique de façon à assurer la prestation des services requis de manière sûre et efficiente. Respecter les règles et règlements en vigueur concernant les livraisons sur le terrain et en cas d'accident, et signaler immédiatement au ou à la responsable hiérarchique tout problème se produisant afin de demander des instructions et de faciliter la prise de décisions en connaissance de cause sur la marche à suivre.
- En dehors des fonctions liées à la conduite, effectuer des tâches administratives connexes simples (de classement, de photocopie ou de gestion des stocks, par exemple) si nécessaire, y compris la livraison ou la collecte de divers articles, l'expédition du courrier et le paiement des factures téléphoniques ou autres, afin de fournir un appui administratif.
