You have:
- Minimum of secondary school certificate and a valid driving license of all categories in the country.
- At least one year of progressive experience as a driver with a safe driving record.
- Knowledge of national driving rules and the ability to perform minor vehicle repairs.
- Ability to read, write, and understand instructions in the working language.
- Ability to draft a concise and accurate report of incidents.
- Expert knowledge of French is essential; intermediate knowledge of English is desirable.
Contract
This is a G-2 contract. This kind of contract is known as General Service and related categories. It is normally only for nationals. It usually requires 2 years of experience, depending on education. More about G-2 contracts.
OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME
Les unités d’appui administratif des bureaux de pays (CSU) ont été mises en place dans l’organigramme pour fournir un appui aux responsables et aux membres du personnel afin de leur permettre d’exercer pleinement leurs responsabilités dans l’environnement du GSM et de garantir la conformité aux politiques, procédures, règles et règlements dans toutes les transactions ou pour toutes les questions administratives et financières, dans le contexte d’un système de planification des ressources institutionnelles (ERP).
* DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
Sous la supervision directe du NPO/Chargé des opérations, le titulaire s'acquitte des tâches suivantes: -
- Conduit les véhicules du service pour assurer le transport du personnel autorisé et la livraison et la collecte du courrier, des documents et autres éléments;
- Accueille le personnel officiel à l'aéroport et facilite les formalités douanières et d'immigration, au besoin;
- Responsable de l'entretien quotidien du véhicule affecté, vérifie l'huile, l'eau, la batterie, les freins, les pneus, etc., effectue les réparations mineures et prend les dispositions pour les autres réparations, l'entretien régulier et veille à ce que le véhicule reste propre;
- Consigne les voyages officiels, le kilométrage, les consommations de carburant, la vidange, le graissage quotidiens, etc.;
- Veille à ce que les mesures prescrites par les règles et règlements soient prises en cas d'accident;
- Exécute toute autre tâche assignée.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Essentielle: - Au minimum le brevet du premier cycle du secondaire et un permis de conduire valide toutes catégorie du pays.

Expérience
Essentielle: - Avoir au moins un an d'expérience progressive dans la conduite en tant que chauffeur et des antécédents de conduite en toute sécurité.
Souhaitable:- Une expérience dans le système des Nations Unies serait un avantage.
Skills
• Connaissance des règles et règlements du pays en matière de conduite et capacité à effectuer les réparations mineures du véhicule;
• Capacité à lire, écrire et comprendre les instructions dans la langue de travail et
• Une capacité à rédiger un rapport concis et fidèle des accidents.

REMUNERATION
WHO offers staff in the General Services category an attractive remuneration package, which for the above position includes an annual net base salary starting at CFA6740(in thousands) (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance, as applicable) and 30 days of annual leave.
