World Vision seeks a Cash Coordinator for BHA-funded project, ACTED-led Ukraine Response Consortium (“Addressing the immediate multi-sectoral humanitarian needs of IDPs and conflict-affected populations inside Ukraine”). The project contributes to increasing the coping, resilience, and response capacities of conflict-affected individuals in Ukraine, through immediate relief activities and information management support. The Cash Coordinator oversees the overall implementation of cash activities in the BHA-funded project and ensures the implementation of WV cash activities are conducted with quality, on time and within three regions. The position can be based in Dnipro, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv or Kyiv and responsible for providing coordination and technical support to the implementing partners in process like beneficiary targeting, selection, and verification process, digital registration using (LMMS), Financial Service Providers engagement, Cash distribution, Market monitoring and Price data collection and analysis. The coordinator will closely work with the Chief of Party for BHA project and also Cash and Voucher Program Manager in a daily bases.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage proactive and responsive relationship with the Implementing partners who will implement cash activities in the framework of BHA project.
  • Direct and oversee WV cash activities implementation and World Vision’s sub-grantees implementation, ensuring that all activities are implementing with good quality as per donor and WV project models, approaches, guidelines and within scope, time and budget.
  • Work closely with Cash and Voucher Program Manager in contextualizing and delivering the capacity building of partners on as per partner’s needs.
  • Ensure that all cash activities are well documented and reported as per donor and WV requirements by ensuring timely submission of the reports with good quality, highlighting the achievements and evidence.
  • Support MPCA Implementing partners to prepare reports (5ws, ITT, narrative monthly, interim reports) and ensure the timely Reporting by partners.
  • Support in monitoring of the project interventions together with MEAL team and Cash and Voucher Program Manager
  • Support the Chief of Party to ensure grant/project expenses for protection activities are reasonable, allocated as per assigned budget, prudent and spent in accordance with donor rules and regulations to ensure low risk audits
  • Support Chief of Party to liaise with local officials, local communities, donor representatives and other stakeholders as appropriate
  • The protection Coordinator will represent WV and contribute actively in Protection Technical Working Stream and other relevant platforms of Ukraine Response Consortium.

KNOWLEDGE / QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

  • A minimum of one year experience in implementation of Cash in sectoral interventions (Food, shelter, NFIs, and others)
  • Humanitarian field experience with substantial exposure to aid agencies’ commodity and aid assistance business processes under chronic and rapid emergency contexts. Experience in assessments, monitoring activities, working with Financial Service Providers.
  • University Degree Agri-Business Management, Economics, Marketing, Rural Development, Banking, project Management.
  • Ability to provide support, training and coaching to staff, Financial Service Provide, and
  • Ability to communicate with English (oral and written), express ideas and concepts clearly and persuasively with senior internal and external stakeholders
