- Minimum of a College or University Diploma in any field; or equivalent to 1-2 years of relevant professional experience will be considered
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant resettlement processing experience or other professional data entry/data processing experience is advantageous
- Ability to converse, read and write in English is a must
- Proficient in Microsoft Office i.e. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Outlook
- Able to travel whenever required, both domestically and internationally
Job Description
Job Overview/Summary: The Case Processing Officer (CPO) is responsible for data entry into START System. The CPO will work closely with all teams within the RSC to ensure effective task distribution and management of the Case Processing department’s specific workload. The CPO also performs other functions outside of the general responsibilities as assigned by her/his immediate supervisor. This position reports to the Case Processing Manager.
Major Responsibilities:
• Daily assessments, scanning /attaching, medical updates and assurance requests within the assigned units and workloads
• Implement quality control measures to maintain and ensure accuracy of data and case information to achieve the RSC wide goal of data perfection
• Produce specific progress reports to Case Processing Manager
• Accurately enter refugee case information into START system
• Whenever required, assist in providing task-specific training/guidance to colleagues
• Whenever required, assist in monitoring the progress of less experienced colleagues and provide relevant feedback to the Case Processing Manager
• Comply with all guidelines in PRM’s USRAP Integrity and Compliance Module
• Perform other duties as assigned

Internal: All Malaysia, Thailand, and Bangladesh RSC staff
External: UNHCR, USCIS officers, RPC, and IOM
Qualifications
Job Requirements: Education: • Minimum of a College or University Diploma in any field; or equivalent to 1-2 years of relevant professional experience will be considered
Work Experience: • Candidate with a minimum of 1 year of relevant resettlement processing experience or other professional data entry/data processing experience is advantageous • Exposure to a multi-cultural environment is an added value Demonstrated Skills and Competencies: • Proven data entry skills • Good time management skills and able to multitask – workload management • Work effectively under pressure and meet specified targets and deadlines • Good team player, with strong analytical skills and the ability to think and work independently as and when needed • When required, able to assist in providing the necessary guidance and support to co-workers especially assistant level in their daily job • Good interpersonal skills i.e. communicate well with co-workers.
Language and Computer Skills: • Ability to converse, read and write in English is a must • Computer literacy – Proficient in Ms Office i.e. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Outlook
Certificates or Licenses: • Not applicable, unless required by law and/or organization to carry out official duties
Others: • Able to travel whenever required, both domestically and internationally
Working Environment: The employee is required to adhere to the “IRC Way” for professional conducts, as well as in compliance with all relevant policies and procedures while carrying her/his duties.
