Overview
Support volunteer recruitment and engagement for the refugee program.
You have:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident (LPR) authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must commit to one full term of service
- Must be high school graduate, GED recipient, or working toward attaining a high school diploma / GED during their term of service
- Must complete a National Service Criminal History check
- Driver’s license and a reliable vehicle
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Confident when presenting in front of individuals and large groups
- Strong project management and event planning skills
- Strong layout, composition, and design skills
- Proficiency working across different systems such as G-Suite, Office 365, Squarespace, volunteer database, Canva
- Ability to work collaboratively with program staff, volunteers, and clients to gather information and stories
- Proficiency in photography, including knowledge of composition, lighting, and editing
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documenting program updates and success stories internally as well as sharing externally on website and social media
- Flexible and willing to learn new things
- Ability to connect with others and forge strong relationships
- Ability to work independently as well as on a team
