If you have an Information Technology (IT) background and you wish to use your technical skills in innovations, whilst delivering results for children, then UNICEF Global Shared Service Center (GSSC) is the right place for you. We are looking for candidates in the fields of SQL Development, Business Intelligence Analysis, Advanced Data Analysis, UiPath Development, SAP Developer and ServiceNow Developer.

UNICEF GSSC was established in 2016 and has since been a solid service provider to UNICEF offices around the globe. In line with the current best practices of shared services centres, UNICEF is expanding the vision of the GSSC to aggregate transactional and common activities into a consolidated stand-alone global business services unit, built on the principles of consolidated technologies, embedded analytics, end-to-end process optimization and global process ownership.

As such, the GSSC would like to take its focus on business process improvement and innovation to a new level. The goal is to develop new business solutions via process redesign and optimization, robotic process automation, system integration, digitization workflows, artificial intelligence and advanced data analytics.

The Business Innovation and Transformation team leads business improvement projects and supports work on customer care, technology and data analytics to advance modern business solutions for efficiency

If you have experience working as:

• SQL Developer
• Business Intelligence Analyst
• Advanced Data Analyst
• UiPath Developer
• SAP Developer
• ServiceNow Developer

SQL Developer – 2 years of relevant experience in:

• Designing and maintaining data warehouse solutions
• Managing database administration (provisioning users, groups, access rights)
• Tuning and scaling database performance
• Building production-grade data backup/restore, and disaster recovery solutions
• Aggregating data from different data sources into the existing data warehouse in MS SQL Server
• Handling and analyzing complex data from different sources
• Debugging and refactoring
• Reviewing and enhancing self-service reporting
• Using any of the following tools: SQL, SSRS, ASP.NET, XML, Java, JavaScript.

Business Intelligence Analyst (2 years of relevant experience)

• Analyzing business processes and requirements
• Collaborating with business and technical teams in data collection and analysis
• Developing and managing BI solutions
• Creating and maintaining documentation including requirements, design, and user manuals
• Providing support to BI solutions through the application life cycle
• Using any of the following tools: MS Power BI, Tableau, SQL.

Advanced Data Analyst (4 years of relevant experience)

• Providing technical expertise in AI/ML, BI and Advanced Data Analytics solutions in SSC context
• Identifying areas of the GSSC’s existing business processes for AI/ML, BI and Advanced Analytics solution implementation
• Providing recommendations for vendors to apply suitable tools/platforms/solutions
• Implementing solutions in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
• Using any of the following tools: Predictive modelling, AI, ML, GCP, Apache Spark, R, Python, C++, Java.

UiPath Developer (1-2 years of relevant experience)

• Developing automation, bots and procedures based on documented business requirements
• Creating and maintaining related documentation
• Functional testing and follow-up on process changes and re-engineering needs
• Mentoring and coaching early adopters
• Providing continuous support including process changes, defect fixes, software upgrades, performance tuning, and other maintenance activities
• Peer reviewing robotic and automated procedures to ensure compliance with internal requirements
• Using any of the following tools: UiPath, Winshuttle Studio and Evolve, PowerShell, VBA, VBA Script, SQL.

SAP Developer (3 years of relevant experience)

• Providing technical support of the ERP system (SAP) in FI, MDM, HR, and Payroll modules
• Software developing in SAP using ABAP, Web Dynpro, Smart Forms and Fiori for new processes and enhancements of existing business processes
• Creating of OData Services to support Fiori apps
• Managing SAP PO (Process Orchestrator) development to support interfaces
• Documenting provided solutions as per standards
• Using any of the following tools: ABAP, SAP (FI, HR, Payroll), SAP Workflow Management, Fiori, Winshuttle, JavaScript.

ServiceNow Developer (2 years of relevant experience)

• Configuring ServiceNow
• Creating customization of platform
• Implementing business requirements in the tool
• Administrating the platform
• Assisting with integration into other system (i.e.: LDAP, SAP, SharePoint, and third-party tools)
• Data imports and analysis
• Developing custom scripts and workflows
• Expertise in any of the following areas: ServiceNow System Administrator, Business Rules, UI& Data Policies, UI Actions, ServiceNow Implementation Specialist, JavaScript, HTML5, Jelly, jQuery, AngularJS.

Remarks:

• Fluency in English (verbal and written) is required
• University degree or any formal training in computer science, information systems, or other relevant disciplines is an advantage
• Positions are for a period of 11.5 months with the possibility of extension
• Candidates who wish to apply as consultants/Individual Contractors can indicate their monthly rate for delivery of services. The rate should be expressed in US dollars (USD), Euros (EUR) or Hungarian Forint (HUF). The offer must be all-inclusive and expressed in gross amounts. If/where applicable, the exchange rate to be used for currency conversion will be the United Nations rate of exchange.
