You have:
- Completion of secondary school education. A post-secondary certificate in the related functional area is desirable.
- 3 years of progressively responsible work experience in the relative business stream with experience in general administrative work.
- Fluent (level C) English and Turkish in both oral and written communication. Knowledge of Arabic is an asset.
- Experience in maintaining corporate systems and running queries on office administrative activities from operational and accounting point of view.
- Experience in administering third party service providers’ and accounts receivable.
- Experience in using ERP (SAP MM - External Services Management Module).
- Experience in financial planning, budgeting for office administrative and reporting.
- Experience in working in the humanitarian/non-profit field.

ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT
At this level, work is carried out under minimal supervision. Job holders are expected to produce organised and accurate work, undertaking specific business support activities. They may offer guidance on standard practices to more junior staff in their area of work.This post is based in Mersin and under the direct supervision of head of Mersin Office.
JOB PURPOSE
To deliver standard business support processes for a specific professional area of work, to facilitate effective service delivery.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not all-inclusive)
- Check the provision of a range of services, including facilities and light vehicle management, travel, protocol related, etc., to contribute to the provision of a safe and comfortable working environment.
- Collate and process information including dissemination to support the production of standard documents and reports for the office, to enable decision-making and the effective management of resources.
- Manage and maintain paper and electronic records within the area of responsibility in accordance with established procedures, to ensure swift and easy data access as required.
- Undertake research and perform basic analyses of data, to contribute to the provision of accurate information and effective management of resources.
- Be a first point of contact for internal queries, to facilitate the provision of efficient and effective resolution of daily issues.
- Provide inputs to routine methods and practices in own area of work, to support the continuous improvement of services provided.
- Gather information with clear direction to support the drafting of documents and preparing reports by other staff.
- Respond to queries and escalate where appropriate, to provide a timely and accurate service to clients.

- Support processing and managing routine administrative and financial tasks in various functional areas, to contribute to the effective and timely management of resources.
- Check the provision of a range of services, including facilities and light vehicle management, travel, protocol related, etc., to contribute to the provision of a safe and comfortable working environment.
- Collate and process information including dissemination to support the production of standard documents and reports for the office, to enable decision-making and the effective management of resources.
- Perform any other duties incidental to the above, as required.
STANDARD MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Completion of secondary school education. A post-secondary certificate in the related functional area is desirable.
Experience: 3 years of progressively responsible work experience in the relative business stream with experience in general administrative work.
Language: Fluent (level C) English and Turkish in both oral and written communication. Knowledge of Arabic is an asset.
