ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT

The Business Support Assistant will work in the south Area Office and in collaboration with the other units of WFP.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not all-inclusive)

Within delegated authority, the Business Support Assistant will be responsible for the following duties:

1. Support the Programme Assistant (partnerships) to receive, register, follow up and print the invoices submitted by Cooperating Partners (CPs). A 2. Support the Programme Assistant (partnerships) to process payment claims of CPs, ensuring that the correct exchange rate is used. 3. Maintain roster, support oversight mission preparations, tracking partners needs around visibility and procurement. 4. Support the preparation, follow up and amendment of Field Level Agreements. 5. Preparing and maintaining asset record of the various assets provided to CPs. 6. Make meeting notes and translate documents related to NGO Partnership. 7. Respond to queries and escalate where appropriate, in order to provide a timely and accurate service to clients. 8. Support processing and managing routine administrative and financial tasks in various functional areas, to contribute to the effective and timely management of resources. 9. Perform any other duties as assigned.

STANDARD MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Completion of secondary school education.

Experience: At least four years of work experience in Programme and/or administration, preferably focusing in managing relationships and payments with external partners and NGO.

Language: Fluency in both oral and written communication in Arabic and English.
