ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT

These jobs are found in Country Offices (COs), ). Job holders may either perform administrative support functions in the front office and report to the HR Officer or designated At this level, work is carried out under minimal supervision. Job holders are expected to produce organised and accurate work, undertaking specific business support activities.

JOB PURPOSE

To deliver standard business support processes for a specific professional area of work, to facilitate effective service delivery.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not all-inclusive)

  1. Provide assistance on general HR queries and follow-up actions, to ensure consistent and high-quality of HR services.
  2. Gather and compile HR data on staff recruitment and selection, staff telephone list, and training records,
  3. Support the office recruitment process, including and not limited to calling for exams and interviews, validating the recruitment documents, collecting signatures, medical clearance..ect)
  4. Provide administrative support in various HR activities in the areas of work allocated by the professional officer including onboarding of new staff members in compliance with relevant processes and procedures.
  5. Support on reporting on staff attendance and verify it with the actual record
  6. Maintain confidential personnel records, HR databases, and archives, to ensure data and files are accurately stored and updated in compliance with the established standards.
  7. Support processing and managing routine HR tasks in various functional areas, to contribute to the effective and timely management of resources.
  8. Start the process of creating E- archiving for HR's files.

STANDARD MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Completion a university certificate (Certificate in HR is an added value) . Experience: Four or more years of progressively responsible work experience in the relative business stream with experience in general administrative work.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Proficient in the use of office equipment and computer software packages, such as Microsoft Word. • Knowledge of work routines and methods in order to complete processes under minimal supervision. • Uses tact and courtesy to give and receive information to a wide range of individuals. • Ability to identify data discrepancies and rectify problems requiring attention.

Language: Fluency in both oral and written communication in the English and Arabic languages

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Contract benefits: Special Service Agreement SSA for 6 months.

Net Salary Per month: 8,618 ILS / month

Duty Station: East Jerusalem

Taxability of Salary: Tax - NOT exempted (Remuneration under SSA is not exempt from national or local taxation)

Medical insurance: The Medical insurance coverage will be granted by WFP (cost is sharing among the contractor and WFP)

Death and Disability: SSA holders must be covered for service incurred disability/injury/death, at no cost.

National holidays: 10 days per year, will be those observed by the WFP office in the country. You will be entitled to holiday days fallen within your contract duration.

Working hours: 5 days a week (Sunday- Thursday from 8:00am to 15:30pm). Or as agreed upon with the direct supervisor in accordance to the operation needs
