Result of Service

Output 1 – Preparation and Planning (mid-March 2026) • Adapted/contextualized training materials • Participated in the ToT • Coordination with partners on outreach • Confirmed participant list ensuring inclusive representation (country-specific profiles) Output 2 – Delivery of Training Workshops (by end of July 2026) • Delivery of two to four in-person or hybrid workshops • Submission of short post-training summaries (within 7 days) highlighting feedback, attendance, and immediate outcomes. Output 3 – Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting (by mid-August 2026) • Completion of pre- and post-training assessments for all participants. • Submission of a final narrative report using ITC SheTrades templates, including: • Key successes and observed behavioural changes • Challenges and mitigation strategies • Recommendations and lessons learned Output 4 - Submission of all supporting documentation: signed attendance sheets, evaluation forms, and pre/post assessment results (by mid-September 2026).

Duties and Responsibilities

The International Trade Centre (ITC) is a joint agency of the United Nations and World Trade Organization based in Geneva. ITC’s mission is to enable small business export success in developing and transition-economy countries, by providing, with partners, sustainable and inclusive development solutions to the private sector, trade support institutions (TSIs) and policymakers. About the GTEX/MENATEX Programme: The Global Textiles and Clothing Programme (GTEX) and its MENATEX component, funded by SECO and Sida, strengthen the competitiveness of the textile and clothing (T&C) sector across selected countries. The programme supports MSMEs, BSOs, and training institutions to improve productivity, innovation, sustainability, and market readiness, supporting decent work, inclusion, and women’s economic empowerment. The soft skills and leadership training delivered under ITC SheTrades aligns closely with GTEX/MENATEX objectives, equipping women and professionals across the T&C sector with leadership, communication, negotiation, and confidence-building tools needed to support inclusive workplaces and stronger business performance. ITC seeks a consultant based in Jordan, Egypt, Morocco, and Tunisia to deliver leadership and business-oriented soft skills training for entrepreneurs, professionals, and SME managers. The consultant will deliver tailored, participatory sessions designed to strengthen leadership mindsets, boost confidence, improve communication, and foster collaboration and conflict resolution skills. Training will follow the agreed delivery sequence: 1. Expression of Interest (EOI) in early 2026 2. Face-to-face workshops after Ramadan (end March–June 2026) The training will target country-specific cohorts, as agreed in the consultations: Women entrepreneurs, designers, and women-led SMEs, mixed groups including women managers, male SME managers, and representatives of BSOs DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES The consultant will work under the supervision of the GTEX/MENATEX Programme Officers and directly with the SheTrades Associate Programme Officer to deliver the duties: A. Preparation and Participation • Participate in a virtual Training of Trainers (ToT) to become familiar with ITC methodology. • Review the training framework and align delivery plans with the project manager. B. Development and Adaptation of Training Materials • Contextualize ITC materials (PowerPoints, workbooks, exercises) to reflect local realities. • Oversee translation into Arabic, French or other relevant languages if required. • Ensure all materials remain gender-responsive, inclusive, and culturally appropriate. C. Mobilization and Facilitation of Trainings • Support with workshop logistics, including: o Gathering quotations and liaising with venues and suppliers. o Preparing a logistical plan (venue, refreshments, materials, equipment). • Deliver participatory, learner-centred training sessions using role-play, reflection, storytelling, and group discussions. Specific modules delivered will vary by country and will be communicated and confirmed by the project team. • Support ToT sessions for BSOs and WBAs as required. D. Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting • Administer ITC pre- and post-assessment tools. • Collect qualitative feedback, testimonials, and success stories. • Submit a final report summarizing delivery, outcomes, behavioural change observations, challenges, and recommendations. • Provide all attendance sheets, assessment results, and supporting documentation. The consultant is obliged to provide full access to ITC external and internal auditors to documents and information. In addition, the consultant shall comply with any audit undertaken in line with the financial regulations and rules of the United Nations. Copyright Clause: The consultant has to ensure that she has obtained the necessary permissions with regard to intellectual property rights required to perform her services under this consultancy contract and for the subsequent dissemination by ITC in any form. Documentary proof is to be submitted to ITC. Should any license fee be due for the use of copyrighted materials of third parties, the consultant shall request the prior written permission from ITC. Qualifications/special skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Culture and Creative Industries, Communication, Gender Studies, Psychology, International Development, Organization Culture or related fields. • Extensive relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a university degree. • Minimum 3 years of experience training, mentoring and coaching adults, especially women. • Demonstrated experience applying adult learning principles and participatory facilitation methods. • Experience in gender-responsive and inclusive programming. • Strong communication, outreach, and marketing skills • Diplomatic skills and ability to handle sensitive discussions • Strong facilitation and presentation skills • Cultural sensitivity and ability to work with diverse groups • Excellent attention to detail and reliable time management • Ability to work independently Desirable: • Previous experience in delivering training or coaching in topics such as leadership, communication, emotional intelligence, negotiation, entrepreneurship, or business fields such as sales, negotiation or a related field with trade, entrepreneurship, or creative industries is an asset. • Employed or has strong engagement in women’s chamber of commerce or other Women Business Association with strong networking skills and outreach capacity.
