You have:
- First level university degree, Bachelor, in economics, business information technology, law, trade or related fields is required.
- At least 7 years experience of work in the fields related to information management and project implementation, is required.
- Work experience of work with the implementation of UNCTAD eRegulations/eRegistrations systems, is desirable.
- Fluency written and spoken in English is required.

The individual contactor will contribute to the improvement of the services offered by civil servants to businesses and investors.

Duties and Responsibilities
The individual contractor will, under the supervision of the project coordinator, in liaison with national counterparts, support the implementation of the Business Facilitation Program’s eGovernment tools in Kenya and other countries upon request. S/he will participate in the analysis of investment-related procedures including of the information systems that play a part in handling investment project approvals, in the training of national staff on the eRegistrations systems and provide substantive support to consultative meetings and reporting. In particular, s/he will be entrusted with the following tasks: • Support KenInvest staff in designing, using eRegistrations, new prototypes for additional services to be included on the Kenya Investment Window system. • Test the prototypes thoroughly and organise testing sessions with relevant KenInvest staff to identify areas for improvements • Support the national project coordinator to implement measures that further simplify and automate one stop center investment procedures. This will entail organizing meetings with partner institutions such as Kenya Revenue Authority and Business Registration Service, describing the content and impact of simplification measures and following up on their implementation with the agencies in charge. • Conduct thorough tests of the new version of the eOpportunities system and report bugs and any technical glitches to the project development team in Geneva. • Participate in presentations to interested countries and beneficiaries in the context of the Development Account project.
Qualifications/special skills
Academic Qualifications: First level university degree, Bachelor, in economics, business information technology, law, trade or related fields is required. Work experience of work with the implementation of UNCTAD eRegulations/eRegistrations systems, is desirable.
