The online volunteer will be supporting the UNV Kenya filed unit to build a comprehensive integrated and interconnected database tracker. The volunteer will benefit by understanding recruitment and personnel management that he/she may apply in career development.

To analyze, categorize and organize into a database all of UNV Kenya data on Volunteer assignment Mobilization, recruitment, and management. This will involve:

Reviewing UNV Kenya country office Volunteer assignment mobilization, recruitment and management data, and extracting relevant information - analyze internal data sources and existing database for enhancement.

Build a comprehensive integrated and interconnected database tracker.

The product would be an Excel or other accessible database that presents the information clearly and can be shared with Microsoft office 365. Options for further support include producing visualizations.

Expertise in building databases for progress tracking and knowledge management purposes. Experience and knowledge in use of Microsoft office software with expertise in Excel and data integration/connection tools. Knowledge of programming language. Excellent communication skills Understanding of global HR data management
