Contract Duration: The Business Support Assistant (Office Helper) will be contracted for an initial term of 12 months. Contract may be extended based on business need and satisfactory performance.

WFP also supports Lebanon’s National Poverty Targeting Programme, and Lebanon’s Emergency Crisis and COVID-19 Response Social Safety Net Project (ESSN)

Job Purpose Oversee the Management of WFP Facilities Countrywide while Implementing Global Greening Emissions Standards and Promoting Staff Wellness.

Key Responsibilities (not all-inclusive, nor exhaustive):

Within delegated authority and under the direct supervision of the Facility Manager and under the overall supervision of the Head of Administration:

• Supervise cleaning staff and ensure the office is maintained in good condition • Oversee hygiene standards in all WFP common premises • Support in canteen operations, catering, and other services • Arrange for refreshments for executive office meetings and office set-up • In charge of replenishment of meeting supplies and inventory of food stock (including expiry dates)

Standard Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Completion of Secondary High School Degree.

Experience: At least two years of progressively responsible experience in office management, cleaning services supervision, and support to executive offices.

Language: Fluent in both oral and written communication in Arabic with Basic Knowledge in English language.
