The online volunteers will support the ongoing project on technology radar for disaster management. The volunteers will work on the customization of the radar using D3 and JavaScript. The assigned tasks may include but not limited to • Creating separate pages for each use case • Customization of filer function • Front-end design of the radar and user interface SDG AI Lab will support the volunteers as needed, with regular check-ins and maintaining collaboration through MS Teams and GitHub group repository. The volunteer will work under the coordination of the Technical Specialist of the IICPSD.

    SDG AI Lab is developing the digital tool – technology radar, which would provide categorized and visualized information on the digital technologies use cases in disaster context. The tool is intended to support the work of UNDP and other development stakeholders working in the disaster management.

  • Volunteers: 2 needed

  • 11-20 hours per week / 4 weeks

    Bachelor’s in computer science, software engineering, or related field with a strong interest in web development. Strong proficiency in D3 and React is required.
