MDF is seeking support from Online Volunteers in auditing and financial reporting to ensure accountability and continued operations of its projects in PNG.

MDF is currently carrying out various projects to develop both the rural and urban communities in Papua New Guinea and will need audited information that can be submitted to the donor agencies as proof of its operation in the country. In addition, MDF needs support in preparing audit reports to accompany all its project proposal submissions to donor agencies.

The task will involve auditing the financial statements of our organisation: scrutinizing the important statements, cross-checking bookkeeping records, invoices receipts, etc. to ensure they are free from material errors and prepared correctly.

The contact person for the Foundation will make available all the information that the auditor will require to ensure the task is completed. The Online Volunteers will also provide accounting and auditing opinions on the financial records provided by MDF.

The books will be checked by 3 online volunteers simultaneously.

The task will be carried out within one week and the online volunteers will receive a certificate when the assignment is completed.

Must have: - English language skills (professional/business level) - Experience in auditing financial statements (best if experienced with audit for NGOs and/or other agencies) - Finance-related degrees (formal education proving skills)

We also welcome applications from students - however, any experience (e.g. for other NGOs) is necessary.
