Overview

Ensure functional efficiency of the ASYCUDA modules and components.

You have:

  • An advanced university degree, Master, in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related field is required.
  • At least 7 years of progressively responsible experience in ICT sector dealing with analysis, deployment, management and maintenance of complex information systems is required.
  • Experience of implementing e-customs, e-finance or trade single window systems is required.
  • Experience of working at the governmental ICT sector is desirable.
  • Experience of implementing ICT projects in the transition economies region is desirable.
  • Fluency oral and written in Russian required.
  • Knowledge of English desirable.

The consultant will ensure functional efficiency of the ASYCUDA modules and components currently implemented in the CEECA region and their alignment with transition economies operational specifics

Duties and Responsibilities

Under the general supervision of UNCTAD ASYCUDA Regional Coordinator for CEE and Central Asia the consultant will: - analyze gaps and assess needs of ASYCUDA modules implementation in the transition economies region - define requirements for functional finetuning of the new digital customs components - refine automated decision-making processes and assist in functional improvements - conduct functional preparation to piloting and rollout of ASYCUDA system components - provide recommendations on addressing functional and procedural gaps identified during piloting and rollouts.

An advanced university degree, Master, in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related field is required.
