MGIEP’s Programme Design and Evaluation Team works with all projects at the Institute in pursuit to enhance the quality and impact of UNESCO MGIEP’s initiatives by applying evidence-based approaches that will enable data-driven policy recommendations and support the delivery of sustainable, cost-effective programs. Long Description ---------------- **MAIN TASKS AND SERVICES** --------------------------- Under the overall authority of the Director of UNESCO MGIEP and the direct supervision of the Senior Project Officer, the incumbent Associate Project Officer- Statistics will be responsible for Statistical analysis of research data and would undertake the following tasks: - Create database structure to save and store the data for further analysis - Develop sampling plans and calculate sample requirements based on the scope of the study - Support development of appropriate research tools and instruments - Write the relevant codes in statistical packages such as R and Python to automate the data analysis - Carry out psychometric analysis using methods such as CTT, IRT, etc., of the study instruments - Carry out the statistical data analysis of various projects in alignment with the research design - Support data collection through primary and secondary methods. - Provide programmatic coordination and support in the implementation of assessment studies. - Write and present technical and analytical reports - Contribute to other tasks related to programme design and evaluation - Support any other institute-wide activities as and when they arise. - Carry out any other task assigned by the supervisor. Long Description ---------------- **LANGUAGES** - Knowledge of another UNESCO official language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, Spanish) or regional Indian languages. **BENEFITS AND ENTITLEMENTS** ----------------------------- UNESCO’s salaries consist of a basic salary and other benefits, which may include, if applicable: 30 days annual leave, reimbursement of medical insurance (up to 5% of base salary), pension plan (up to 10% of base salary), etc. The Starting Annual Salary for this position is INR **23,34,091****.** The salary for service contracts is taxable, and it is the responsibility of the contract holder to pay the taxes.
