Under the framework of the above global partnership, the UNESCO Office in Kathmandu is implementing the Joint Programme on "Empowering Adolescent Girls and Young Women through the provision of Comprehensive Sexuality Education and a Safe Learning Environment in Nepal" with support from the Republic of Korea through the Korea International Cooeration Agency (KOICA) and in close cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology. Under the supervision of the Head of the UNESCO Office in Kathmandu and in close cooperation with the Section of Education for Inclusive and Gender Equality in Headquarters, the incumbent will be involved in the management, coordination, planning and implementation of the activities within the UNESCO-UNFPA-UN Women Joint Programme on "Empowering Adolescent Girls and Young Women through the Provision of Comprehensive Sexuality Education and a Safe Learning Environment in Nepal" funded by the Korean International Cooperation Agency. Specifically, s/he will: Long Description - Ensure operational, programmatic and administrative management and implementation of the country project in accordance with results-based management.
