Under the overall authority of the Assistant Director-General for Culture and the direct supervision of the Chief of the Executive Office of the Culture Sector (Chief CLT/EO), the Associate Programme Coordinator contributes to the planning, monitoring, reporting and evaluation of the implementation of Major Programme IV (Culture) and its contribution to intersectoral, transversal and UN-wide reports and exercises. In particular, the incumbent will: Long Description ---------------- - Monitor, process and synthesize Sector-wide inputs, including through the relevant IT systems, in view of the preparation of strategic programme documents and periodic analytical reports on programme implementation to the Director-General and the UNESCO Governing Bodies; Ensure quality control and monitor the timeliness and accuracy of data entries and validations to report on the implementation of the Culture Programme, including on transversal matters such as UNESCO’s Global Priorities and priority groups; Collect and synthesize inputs from the Entities of the Culture Sector and prepare, consolidate and draft management responses to internal and external audits and evaluations.
