Overview
Support Pandemic Prevention, Preparedness, and Response efforts by coordinating and implementing strategic health initiatives.
You have:
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in public health, animal health, environmental health, epidemiology or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional experience in demanding, results-oriented environments in the public sector and/or private sector (e.g. One health, pandemic preparedness, animal health, environmental health).
- Experience working at policy development level, with donors and managing donor funded projects, particularly in pandemic preparedness and response, global health security, and One Health.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical and quantitative skills, including attention to detail and experience in disease surveillance and reporting.
- Strong communication skills, including delivery of compelling presentations and documents in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Experience engaging with policymakers, senior government leadership, multiple stakeholders and donors.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently on complex projects and solve challenging problems, in a high-pressure, fast-paced and multicultural environment.
- Strategically minded, able to think creatively about long-term programme objectives and the detailed steps necessary to achieve these goals.
